Of the People

Most of my life I believed that elected officials, for the most part, represented their constituents. Currently, I do not believe this is true.

In recent years it seems that publicly elected positions go to the guy with the most money and that guy is then the hired hand of his big donors. The people, the constituents, are secondary at best.

That does NOT represent the notion of Government of, by and for the people that I grew up believing in.

Together, we can make changes.

But, that begins with one of  our basic rights, VOTING.

In the last Midterm Election (when we are not voting for President) only 41.6% of Michigan residents exercised their right to vote.
The Michigan Primary is on August 7, 2018.
The Michigan General Election is on November 6, 2018.
